Castello Roncade Venezia Pinot Grigio 2024 $16 - Notes of apple, hay, and white flowers, which create a lively and refreshing aromatic profile. Its balanced acidity and pleasant minerality.

Ca' del Baio 2024 Langhe Nebbiolo $22 - From a top Barbaresco cru producer, the 2024 Ca' del Baio Langhe Nebbiolo is a superb, high-toned expression of the noble grape. The nose is bright and expressive, with notes of sour cherry, wild strawberry, and rose petal, layered with savory hints of licorice and crushed stone. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied and graceful, with fine, silky tannins and a vibrant acidity that frames the pristine red fruit. The finish is long, clean, and savory.

Ippolito 2021 Cirò Rosso Classico Superiore "Liber Pater” $17 - Founded in 1845, Ippolito has been passed down through five generations of winemakers. Its guiding principles are the promoting native vines, safeguarding the territory, and respecting traditions, nature, and the biodiversity of the native land. This ruby red wine is 100% Gaglioppo, a delicious and ancient grape native to Calabria. "Liber Pater" Cirò Rosso Classico Superiore DOC, an ode to the Italic god of wine and vineyards, is intoxicating with complex aromas of wild berries, violets, and spices. Full-bodied with velvety tannins.

Fattoria Zerbina DOC Romagna Sangiovese “Ceregio” 2023 $21 - Fattoria Zerbina is named for the warm southerly wind that blows through the Marzeno Valley, where the land begins to rise towards the Apennine Mountains that divide Romagna from Tuscany. The estate was established by Vincenzo Geminiani, who purchased the farm in 1966, and immediately set out to estate-bottle his wines, rather than sell them in bulk. The wine has a glowing, super-saturated, dark ruby-red color. Aromas of Morello cherries, sun-dried plums, dried cranberries, and porcini mushrooms emerge when the wine is first poured, adding faded rose petals, black Mission figs, and wild mint.

Musto 2021 Aglianico del Vulture "Rosso Maschitano” $22 - There’s a reason Aglianico is often called “the Nebbiolo of the south.” At its best, it carries that same combination of structure, perfume, and age-worthiness—but with a darker, more sun-drenched core. An aromatic ensemble that develops lively and cheerful notes of blueberries, strawberries, and pomegranate combined with herbaceous and vegetal bursts. The exquisitely Mediterranean sip fills the mouth with crisp, soft, and slightly mineral tones in the finish.

Bonus Wines

Pojer e Sandri IGT Vigneti delle Dolomiti Nosiola 2024 $28 - Pojer & Sandri has been at the forefront of winemaking innovation in Trentino-Alto Adige since 1975. The estate, led by Mario Pojer and Fiorentino Sandri, focuses on producing wines that honor both tradition and modern techniques. The wine is fermented and aged in neutral oak barrels, which allows the varietal's delicate characteristics to shine. On the nose, it presents aromas of green apple, pear, and wildflowers, complemented by hints of hazelnut—a signature trait of Nosiola. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with crisp acidity and a pronounced minerality, reflecting the rocky soils and cool mountain climate.

Umani Ronchi Cúmaro Conero Riserva 2021 $40 - Conero DOCG wine is produced in a unique geography consisting of rolling hills stretching all the way to the Adriatic sea. The terroir of this area is ideal for cultivating vineyards, providing flat and agreeable conditions for them to thrive. The unique climate and soil of Monte Conero have created a suitable living environment for certain non-indigenous grape varieties. It presents an intense bouquet opening with lovely ripe plum, blackcurrant and morello cherry notes, finishing spicy on black pepper, vanilla and tobacco.

Lungarotti Vigna Monticchio Torgiano Rosso Riserva DOCG 2018 $69 - The Torgiano Rosso Riserva DOCG wine must be subjected to an ageing period of at least three years, of which at least 6 months are in the bottle. 100% Sangiovese from the hills of Umbria. The Rubesco Riserva Vigna Monticchio 2018 is a long-lived wine as the maturation was perfectly balanced, the alcohol content lower and the acidity more pronounced than in the hot 2017 vintage. In the glass, it releases the intensity of a cherry in spirit, immediately chased by deeper notes of liquorice, cinchona and gunpowder. The aromatic boost is typical of the vintage, director of the complex narrative of Vigna Monticchio’s aromas. On the nose, hints of sour cherry, bitter cocoa, marzipan, date and black tea take over, held together by a delicate balsamicity that accompanies a more Mediterranean closure centred on blood orange and myrtle.
